Client Accounting Services Staff – St. Joseph, MI. We are seeking an individual to join our Client Accounting & Advisory Services team to help us serve clients in Kalamazoo and the surrounding region. This varied and meaningful role will provide full-range bookkeeping and accounting services to multiple clients. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in QuickBooks online; at least 2-4 years of hands-on accounting experience; Associate degree in Accounting; and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor or willing to become one. We are also open to a full or part-time schedule.
Assurance Manager or Senior Manager – Indiana and St. Joseph, MI offices. Work in agile teams serving clients in a variety of industries, helping meet their needs for assurance services. Our people in these roles make a significant impact serving on and leading engagement teams and helping less experienced colleagues grow and develop.
SALT (State & Local Tax) Practice Leader – South Bend, IN. Help us grow the firms SALT practice and work with the firm’s partners and managers to provide SALT expertise to clients. Ideal candidates will have at least 8-10 years of meaningful state and local/multistate experience; proficiency in tax applications and research tools; and technical/analytical, writing and communication, and people skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
Assurance Senior Staff or Staff– Portage and St. Joseph, MI. Join colleagues in planning and delivering assurance (audit, reviews, and compilations) services to clients. Demonstrate growing knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, and techniques; and work collaboratively with engagement team members to efficiently/effectively complete client engagements. Ideally will have 2-4 years of assurance experience and have passed the CPA exam or be in the process of doing so.
Tax Manager or Senior Manager – South Bend or Elkhart, IN and St. Joseph, MI. Due to continued growth, we have an opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Manager to provide tax planning, compliance, and consulting services to flow-through entities and their owners.
Seasonal Team Members – all KL offices. Seasonal team members typically focus on individual and business tax returns during our peak season, i.e., January – mid-April. This could be a full-time or flex-time schedule to fit your personal commitments.
