Katherine Riffell earned an Indiana High-Grade Award – an accolade she acquired for receiving one of the top ten cumulative scores in the state for the CPA exam for 2024. This achievement highlights not only her exceptional expertise, but also her unyielding dedication to advancing in the accounting profession.
Shaun Mawhorter was one of the winners in the “Women to Watch” category. She is esteemed for her integrity, empathy, and commitment to empowering others. As the first female partner on the firm’s Executive Committee, she co-leads the KL’s Women’s Initiative Network, mentors staff, and advances recruiting and training – all while redefining leadership with authenticity and heart.
Nick Muller took home one of the Breakthrough Awards which honors members who have overcome significant challenges or adversity on their path to professional success. Nick’s personal story and journey to Manager at KL highlight the epitome of prevailing against the odds, humanizing the accounting profession, and leading with true compassion.
