Tax Manager or Senior Manager. Due to continued growth, we have opportunities in our Michigan and Indiana offices for experienced tax professionals to lead tax planning, compliance, and consulting services to flow-through entities and their owners.

Fiduciary/Trust Tax Manager or Senior Professional – in-office, hybrid, or remote.  Join our growing Fiduciary Tax Services team to help us provide outsourced fiduciary tax services to financial institutions and wealth management firms. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of ONESOURCE Trust Tax software and a BS/BA degree, preferably in Accounting. CPA or EA certification ideal but not required. 

In our assurance practice:

Non-Profit Assurance Senior Staff or Manager.  Supervise/lead engagement teams providing assurance (audit) services to mission-driven clients in the northern Indiana/southwest Michigan region. Our team members in these roles make a significant impact on clients who enrich our communities, as well as help less experienced colleagues grow and develop.

Experienced Auditor – Municipal Government Entities – Southwest Michigan. Help us serve municipal government entities (cities, counties, townships, etc.) with auditing and related services. Join our team at the senior staff or manager level, depending on experience.

Knoxville, TN:

We are seeking experienced Managers and Senior Managers to join our Knoxville team. We welcome talented CPAs with experience in Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS), tax compliance and consulting services for partnerships and flow-through entities, or assurance services to nonprofit and/or governmental clients. Ideal candidates are growth-oriented, including an affinity for relationship-building and networking; adept working in a hands-on mode and with colleagues in multiple locations; and believe in and support our values. Kruggel Lawton firm operations:

Talent Acquisition Manager – South Bend:  Lead the firm’s efforts to attract exceptional talent to carry out our mission.  Advance the firm’s employer brand within its talent markets; personally conduct experienced hire recruitment; oversee the talent pipeline function; and act as a trusted advisor to senior colleagues throughout the hiring process. Ideal candidates will have at least five years of professional recruiting experience; proficiency with current and emerging recruiting technologies and platforms; degree in HR or business and working knowledge of employment-related laws and HR compliance; and willingness to travel to firm offices and off-site meetings as needed.

Executive Assistant – Elkhart County, IN.  Provide administrative support to two of the firm’s Partners, one in Elkhart and one in Goshen.  Manage workflows, calendars, communications, and other functions to help them work more efficiently and effectively.  This would involve full-time, standard office hours, with occasional overtime and potential Saturday mornings January-April; and also rotate between downtown Elkhart and downtown Goshen office locations.  Ideal candidate will have at least five years of similar experience; current technology and tools; and discretion and professionalism.
