Kruggel Lawton CPAs is proud to announce that Allison Allman, CPA, has been selected as one of Moody on the Market’s Bold Women of Business.
The Bold Women of Business award honors 20 women who live or work in the Southwest Michigan counties of Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren and are making significant contributions to their communities through growth, leadership, and innovation. The award program is administered by Moody on the Market and Mid-West Family Southwest Michigan.
As a Senior Assurance Manager in the firm’s St. Joseph office, Allman serves nonprofit organizations, municipalities, and school districts throughout Southwest Michigan, combining technical expertise with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client service. She also invests in the firm’s people and future through her involvement with the Kruggel Lawton Women’s Initiative Network (KLWIN), KLimb to 2030 team, and NextGen, where she contributes to initiatives focused on professional development and the employee experience. Her leadership and commitment to excellence earned her the firm’s HERM Award in 2025 and the Michigan Association of CPAs’ Women to Watch – Emerging Leader Award in 2026.
“Being named a Bold Woman of Business is an incredible honor,” said Allman. “I’m grateful for the colleagues, mentors, clients, and friends who have supported me throughout my journey and helped shape both my career and who I am today. What makes this recognition especially meaningful is being part of a Southwest Michigan community that values hard work, collaboration, and lifting others up.”
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Allman is deeply committed to serving the Southwest Michigan community. She gives her time to Girls on the Run Southwest Michigan, Junior Achievement, and Lake Michigan College’s Accounting Advisory Committee, with a particular focus on encouraging and supporting the next generation. She also regularly volunteers alongside her colleagues through initiatives such as the CPA Day of Service, Rake a Difference, and an annual charity softball game. Her involvement reflects the same commitment to helping others succeed that she brings to her work at Kruggel Lawton.
“Allison is incredibly deserving of this recognition. She leads with authenticity, invests in the people around her, and consistently looks for ways to make a difference in her community,” said Sara Sweers, CPA, Assurance Partner and 2024 Bold Women of Business honoree. “Her commitment to helping others succeed is evident in everything she does, and I’m proud to see her celebrated for the impact she continues to make throughout Southwest Michigan.”
Allison will be recognized at an awards ceremony at the Inn at Harbor Shores on Wednesday, November 11 alongside the other 2026 honorees.
