Prior to joining the firm, Ali completed three internships within the accounting field: one in 2021 where she completed audits for affordable housing entities, a tax internship with KL in 2023, and another tax internship in 2025 where she helped prepare individual 1040 returns.

In her role on the Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) team at KL, she provides client engagement services such as bookkeeping, month-end preparation, and financial statement preparation. She also helps the Tax team prepare returns and assists the EB team during busy season.
