Sara joined the firm with more than 15 years of experience in assurance work with BDO USA P.C. She has worked with privately-held clients consisting of manufacturing, distribution, professional service, specialty finance, non profit, and various governmental entities including, school districts, municipalities, and tribal gaming.

Sara is based in our Portage, Michigan office and plays an active role in growing our assurance practice in Portage/ Kalamazoo and southwest Michigan. As a partner in the firm, her areas of service include:

• Planning and performing audits of local units  of government, privately held companies, and not-for-profit entities
• Consultation regarding internal controls
• Succession planning and mergers and acquisitions
